  Freelance Projects
MatthewVisyak.com

During my education at Allegheny College, I found myself engrossed in my studies for the better part of the time; however as my skills as an artist and computer programmer continued to grow, colleagues and professors started to enlist my services to complete various projects. I was approached with many different tasks which included: programming custom applications, web development solutions, and creating public art.

These various tasks were completed during my spare time and I received a little extra cash and valuable experience. Between selling my own artwork and performing these freelance jobs I was able to earn a generous amount of cash for books and other expenses without needing a full time job. This allowed me to live comfortably on campus and dedicate even more time to my academic advancement.

Even though my satisfied clients thanked me for assisting them, the true thanks lies with the clients who gave me the business and an opportunity to enhance my skills. Below I have the various freelance projects listed followed by an explanation of what was learned or enhanced through each opportunity.

In some cases, I even accepted the task without having full knowledge of how to complete the job because I had confidence in my ability to teach myself the skills that I required. As it turns out I didn’t have a single complaint with the finished products.
