In my spare time I like to dabble in the artistic realm. Below are some examples of the work completed through my college career.
I created a cell animation by drawing each frame in Photoshop and then importing all the frames into Macromedia Director MX. Even thought you could animate certain vector objects within Director I still wanted to retain the detail that could be achieved in Photoshop and experience the discipline of old school animation, with onion skinning. Once the frames were imported, I took each still frame and moved it to the timeline for all 1000+ imported images.
Read MoreThis section showcases some of my drawings. I have to say that I am partial to pencil drawing because it doesn't require make that much of a mess as opposed to other types of media. I have used other forms of media such as pastel. You almost need to have a studio space or an empty garage to make cleanup manageable.

Read MorePainting is another form of expression that I enjoy. Starting from water color at a young age, I admired what could be accomplished with a blank canvas and a selection of paint. Of the different kinds of paint, I would have to say that acrylic seems to be my choice because of its quick drying time.

Most people know about the paper-mache process, but did you also know that you can make the same type of durable material from toilet paper and water. No joke. I must have really been bored waiting for my new Nintendo games that I asked Santa to bring me one winter, but I thought it would be neat to craft an ornament for the Christmas tree using half a roll of toilet paper, water, and some Elmer's school glue.
